Simon and Charlie got in touch after I was recommended to them by the lovely ladies at Ava Event Styling (and of course, not forgetting Vickie from Boutique Baking). To have the confidence of people you admire in the industry is amazing. I'm so very grateful! When I met Charlie & Simon at Hotel du Vin in Birmingham (their wedding venue), we had a lovely chat about their wedding plans and I found them so easy to be around I knew we'd have no problems on their engagement shoot!
Fast forward a few months to a sunny evening in Coventry (I know, they do exist!) and we spent an hour or two wandering around and taking some pretty portraits. It was really fun using the different props Charlie brought along with us, but the thing that always stands out to me is how lovely it is to be around them :)
There's something so romantic about that last picture: walking on a summer's evening with your love :) It makes my heart happy!
