Oxford Winter Wedding: Rox and Mike

Well hello. My apologies for the blog silence of late - I promise you, Rox and Mike's wedding is such a lovely way to start my blogging for the new year. They were married in December in Christ Church Abingdon and went on to a reception in St. Aldates, Oxford. Their wedding was full of creativity, love and joy. I smiled the whole way through. Here's part I of their celebrations, and yes, there are a lot of ceremony shots - I just couldn't pick a few :)

Ali Lovegrove joined me for the day and it was so lovely to shoot with her :)

We met Rox, her family and bridesmaids at their lovely home in Abingdon. We were greeted with lots of smiles and the house was humming with activity. So much thought and love was put into all the details, I especially loved the pom poms on Rox's beautiful blue shoes!

Something tells me Rox loved her flowers, and she had good reason to!

Rox, you are a vision!

I think I'm right in saying that only one of these beautiful dresses was bought!

Rox and Mike's wedding ceremony was full to bursting with joy. I felt so honoured to see two beautiful people commit themselves to each other, it never gets old :)

Tune in on Monday for part two! There will be candles and christmas trees, another church and plenty more smiles, not forgetting some lovely portraits!

Much love, R. x

  1. Rachel, you are amazing! It is so fascinating to see this beautiful wedding from your angle and you have done a beautiful job capturing everything. Loved working with you and cannot wait to see more tomorrow! The shot of Rox looking down her dress in the wardrobe mirror is utterly divine! xx

  2. Beautiful, Rachel. Wonderful work. x
