A little love for Valentine's

Valentine's day has a funny significance for me. When I was 16, Steve (my now husband) rang me up to ask  if I wanted to go for a drink with him and his parents(!) on Valentine's day. We weren't together and I remember being pretty confused about the whole thing! I don't think my parents knew what to think! Little did I know we would be going out a couple of weeks later and this month marks 7 years together :) As it turns out though, we don't really celebrate valentine's day in the usual fashion. My favourite valentine's day was a couple of years ago when we had 8 or so friends round for dinner, it
was ace.

Steve and I where we grew up in the Peak District :)

Being a celebration of love and all, though, I thought I'd share some love with you! I'm offering 10% off all my photography packages for anyone who books by the end of March 2013. As long as I'm available and you're getting married before the end of 2014 then your wedding qualifies for the discount.

Emily and Jonathan on their engagement shoot last weekend!

I'm also donating another 5% of all weddings booked in that time to Care International's 'Walk in her shoes' campaign. I've signed up for the walking, but I don't want to ask you to pay me to walk - so I thought I'd raise money this way! You can find out more about the campaign here.

So if you're planning your wedding and you'd like to know more, please do get in touch! Please also feel free to share with friends and family too.

I hope you have a lovely day tomorrow, whatever your plans :) Let it be a day to celebrate the ones you love the most.

Much love, Rach.
